Meditation and Mala
Meditation has been a key part of my morning practice for many years and I'm passionate about the benefits and insights that can be gained from having a regular mediation practice.
Japa Meditation using Mala
Manta meditation is one of my favourite practices. In mantra meditation we repeat a word or sound to aid concentration. This can be linked to the breath (Ajapa Japa) or turning a set of meditation beads (Japa using Mala).
I love to create Mala beads using a simple technique of hand threading and knotting. The Mala beads that I tie are usually a combination of traditional materials such as rudraksha seeds or sandalwood beads and semi-precious gemstones.

Introduction to Meditation
& Meditation Workshops - coming in 2025 -
2024 was a busy year for me and I pleased to say that I've now qualified to teach a wide range of meditation techniques. For mindful meditation, I'm planning to offer workshop sessions in 2025 based on Ann Swanson's 'Meditation for the Real World'. This is a science backed approach to understanding meditation and helps you pick the practices and techniques which work best for you. This will be a great addition to the traditional meditation techniques used at Mandala Yoga Ashram and Dent Meditation Centre that I'm already qualified to teach.
